Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjawab tiga permasalahan yang diajukan, yaitu implementasi, implikasi dan makna upacara paket lengkap dalam menunjang agenda pembangunan Indonesia emas 2045 di kota Mataram. Pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di kota Mataram. Sumber data ada dua, data primer dan data skunder. Penentuan informan melalui tehnik purposive. Tehnik wawancara dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentsi. Tehnik analisa data : reduksi data, klarifikasi data dan disply dan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian 1). Implenentasi upacara paket lengkap dalam menunjang agenda pembangunan Indonesia emas 2045 di kota Mataram adalah umat Hindu dalam upacara yajna melalui proses yang didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana, terutama banten sebagai syarat utama, dan yang focus terlibat dalam upacara adalah sarati banten, peminpin upacara dan pelaksana upacara dan ketiganya berperan dalam mendukung kesuksesan berupacara. Jaman modern umat lebih cendrung berupacara lebih praktis, efisien, hemat waktu, tenaga dan dana, dalam hal ini solusinya inovasi melalui pelayanan jasa professional upacara paket lengkap, yang meliputi kelengkapan baik sarana, prasarana, peminpin upacara termasuk banten dan hal lainnya berkaitan dengan upacara, 2). Implikasi upacara paket lengkap dalam menunjang agenda pembangunan Indonesia emas 2045 di kota Mataram, yaitu a). umat Hindu sebagai pengguna upacara paket lengkap ini dapat memperudah dalam melaksanakan upacara yajna, b). upacara paket lengkap melalui ritual keagamaan Hindu turut memberikan peran positif mendorong arah kemajuaan pembangunan lokal di kota Mataram menuju Indonesia emas 2045. Regulasi ritual Hindu berkontribusi baik secara lokal, nasional dan internasional di bidang sosial, pelestarian budaya, perkembangan ekonomi lokal, inovasi teknologi, dan perkembangan pariwisata, c). generasi muda kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang praktik-praktik keagamaan dan nilai-nilai ritual, disebabkan karena serba membeli atau penguna jasa yang terus berlanjut, sehingga dikhawatirkan jangan sampai generasi muda menjadi lemah, bahkan tradisi yang telah ada akan menjadi sirna, hal ini menjadi kehilangan identitasnya, 3). Makna upacara paket lengkap dalam menunjang agenda pembangunan Indonesia emas 2045 di kota Mataram, yaitu umat Hindu berupacara atas dasar Tri Rna. Bentuk pembayaran hutang dengan upacara panca yajna, melalui persembahan suci yang berlandaskan sradha dan bhakti secara tulus ikhlas dihaturkan kepada Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa dan manifestasi Tuhan, juga kepada leluhur yang kita hormati .

Banten jejanganan is used in the three-monthly ceremony by Hindus in Mataram City. It has been a tradition until now, but Hindus do not fully know and understand its form, function, and meaning. This research aimed at obtaining answers to this matter. It used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted in Mataram City. The data were collected by observation, interview, and study of document. Data were analyzed by using data reduction, classification and data display, conclusion, and verification. The research findings were: 1) The form of the jejanganan banten in the three-monthly ceremony of Hindus in the city of Mataram, is that the jejanganan banten is a complex unit consisting of various elements of content, a banten which is arranged through a precise process, 2) the functions of the banten jejanganan were as a form of offering to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi (God) and His Manifestations as the sang catur sanak; sang catur sanak had functions in protecting, guarding the baby from the womb until the baby gave birth in the world safely and healthily; catur sanak was also as purification for the baby her/himself and also as the purification to baby’s parents. 3) The meaning of banten jejanganan was a symbol of sacred power of the existence of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi as the Almighty, banten jejanganan had meaning as a symbol of thanks to God for His blessings; it also had meaning as symbol of thanks to catur sanak for taking care the baby. The birth of baby cannot be separated from the support of the parents in guarding, caring for, and carrying out this ceremony by upakara yadnya.

Abstrak

Abstract Lombok has very religious and unique local cultural wisdom, such as the art of the sacred religious hymn known as the Song of Down Taun where the texts are written in the Sasak language. The song is believed to be a medium of spiritual communication to invoke fertility for the Hindu people of Lombok. Precisely at Lingsar Temple, the song is often sung during the Piodalan ceremony, attended by the Sasak tribe and Hindus, as an actualization of strengthening religious moderation which has been passed down from generation to generation and exists as a form of moderate life attitude, mutual respect, tolerance, creating brotherhood for the sake of creating harmony. (spirit of harmony) in the Lingsar region. So far, the singers have only understood the metrum, the song, while the form and meaning have not been the focus of attention, so there is a need for an in- depth study of the form and meaning of the song Turun Taun in strengthening religious moderation. This research is qualitative, descriptive in nature, where the results of this research will later be described in the form of analysis, using symbol theory and meaning theory. The form of Kidung Turun Taun in strengthening religious moderation, the script uses Sasak language, by following the conventions for writing kidung in general, as in, lingsa, purwa kanti and tempo as is the case in the Wargasari ballad. The meanings contained in the song Turun Taun in strengthening religious moderation include: a) religious meaning; b) the meaning of welfare; c) the meaning of neutralizing disease; d) the meaning of loving culture; e) a unifying tool.

Abstrak

Abstract: This article explores the Ngaben ceremony, which is a manifestation of Pitra Yadnya in Balinese culture, referencing the
Lontar Yama Purwwa Tattwa. The background of this research focuses on the importance of Ngaben as a ritual that honors ancestors
and the journey of the soul after death in Hindu Balinese tradition. The research methodology includes text study, symbolic analysis,
and interviews with community leaders and practitioners experienced in the Ngaben ceremony. Findings indicate that this ceremony
functions not only as a burial process but also as a means to strengthen the cultural and spiritual identity of the Balinese community.
Furthermore, the analysis shows that the elements in the Lontar Yama Purwwa Tattwa contain profound philosophical values and
emphasize the importance of the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds. This research aims to enrich the
understanding of the essence of Ngaben in a continuously evolving cultural context.

Abstrak

Abstract

This study examined the phenomenon of socio-religious interaction between the Hindu and Islamic communities of Wetu Telu in Taman Kemaliq Pura Lingsar, Lombok. Usinga qualitative approach, this study aimed to understand how Taman Kemaliq becomes anacculturation space that facilitates and reflects interfaith harmony. The researchuncovered shared histories and religious practices that affirmed communal identity andreligious tolerance through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentanalysis. The results showed that Taman Kemaliq is a place for religious rituals and asymbol of harmony and collective identity. Simultaneous religious practices, such as rarakkembang waru ceremonies for Muslims and odalan ceremonies for Hindus, provide aplatform for both communities to express their own beliefs and traditions whilestrengthening social relations between communities. This research found that TamanKemaliq was a sacred place that united differences through ritual practices andstrengthened tolerance and harmonious interaction between religious communities indaily life. The study offered new perspectives on religious and cultural practices as tools ofinclusive social development and their potential to inspire interfaith harmony. Thesefindings are important for anthropological, theological, and cultural studies, and theyshow that Taman Kemaliq can be a real example of multicultural societies managingdiversity and creating harmony.

Partnership Strategy and Collaborative Power: Internalization of Religious Moderation in Senior High School West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia

ABSTRACT

Indonesia is a country that consists of various tribes, races, and religions. The diversity in this country does need tolerance to understand all of differences that exist. However, the degradation of the nation’s moral value is very worrying, such as intolerance within and between religious communities. Besides the frequent occurrence of fights, riots, and brawls between students and students which are very disturbing, no less important are the problem of religious moderation which also still needs to be improved. This study aims to analyze the role of partnership and collaboration strategies between school members in the internalization of various moderated values in schools. This study used qualitative analysis method. The result of this study discover that SMAN 6 Mataram has implemented several activities in the purpose of internalizing religious moderation. They internalize the value of religious moderation in every subject and conduct an activity of faith and piety every Friday. This study shows that in dealing with this problem of religious moderation, cooperation and collaboration between school members is needed because this is a shared responsibility, not just an individual. Every school member has the same responsibility in creating a peaceful and tolerant life.

Membudayakan Moderasi Melalui Program Penguatan Moderasi Beragama – Ni Putu Listiawati

ABSTRACT

The rise of religious and cultural intolerance, conflict between and among religious adherents, and even the nation’s disintegration have given rise to a national program to strengthen religious moderation. Aims to examine and describe the culture of moderation in planning to strengthen religious moderation, describe the approach to the culture of moderation in program implementation, and analyze the monitoring and evaluation of program implementation carried out by the Hindu Community Guidance Sector work unit of West Nusa Tenggara Province. To answer these three objectives, 3 (three) theories are used: contingency approach, systems theory, and Anthony Giddens’ structuration theory. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological paradigm. Technique for determining informants purposively with criteria, as participants, committee, planner, and person in charge. It can be concluded: 1) cultivating moderation in the planning of the program to strengthen religious moderation in the work unit of the Hindu Guidance Division of West Nusa Tenggara Province, targeting the strengthening of the Pancasila ideology in the nation and state and strengthening Hindu values that are inspired by religious moderation; 2) the implementation approach cultivates moderation, not yet innovative. The participants involved were still homogeneous. The program’s target is still limited to understanding tolerance and not yet formulating a model of tolerance for a multicultural society; 3) monitoring and evaluating the cultivation of moderation in the Hindu Guidance Sector of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of NTB Province using the Formative Summative Evaluation Model. It can be recommended: 1) the proposed program is expected to be more innovative, 2) religious moderation agencies (subjects) should involve a lot of leadership elements at the spearhead (close to the community), and be heterogeneous.
